A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK EXTENDING
CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY
OF THE LATE
CHARLES E. MOREHEAD
ON BEHALF OF THE SAID CITY
AND ITS RESIDENTS
WHEREAS, the late Honorable Charles E. Morehead devoted twenty-
three years to his Country In the United States Navy, and seventeen years
of service to the City of Baldwin Park; and
WHEREAS, these years of service to Baldwin Park Included
positions as Councilman from 1962 to 1970 and Mayor in 1964 and 1967,
and Member of the Water Board and Trustee on the School Board; and
WHEREAS, the late Charles E. Morehead consistently advocated
the need for greater efficiency and honesty in government;
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council and
Residents of the City of Baldwin Park hereby express their sincere an!
deepest sympathy to the Family of the late Charles E. Morehead, and
express appreciation for his years of dedicated efforts toward the
orderly growth and development of Baldwin Park. California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to
the adoption of this resolution and shall transmit a certified copy
thereof to the family of Charles E. Morehead.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 6th day of June. 1973.
