HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973 144 CC RESO1973 144 CC RESO(Ììù RESOLUTION NO. 73-144 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF T?HE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ASCERTAINING THE GENERALLY PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES TO BE PAID TO WORKMEN ENGAGED ON PUBLIC WORKS WITHIN THE CITY AND REPEALING AND RESCINDING ALL RESOLUTIONS INCONSISTENT HEREWITH THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That, pursuant to the applicable sections of the Labor Code of the State of California, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby ascertain and declare that the generally prevailing rate of per diem wages, the generally prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work, and the employer payments for health and welfare, pension, vacation and similar purposes, for each craft, classification or type of workmen needed in the execution of contracts for public work in the locality of the City of Baldwin Park, are as set forth in the documents in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Baldwin Park, marked Exhibit A", entitled 1973-74 Wage Scales for the Basic Trades", and in that document also in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Baldwin Park entitled Sub- Trades Hourly Wage Rates of Building and Construction Trade Unions". Said exhibits are incorporated herein by this reference and made a part of this Resolution. SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall keep on file at the City Hall, 14403 East Pacific Avenue, copies of this Resolution and Exhibit A" hereto, for inspection by any interested person SECTION 3, That all Resolutions and findings inconsistent with the terms and provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed, rescinded and revoked. SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and shall file a certified copy hereof with the Director of Industrial Relations of the State of California pursuant to Section 1773.3 of the Labor Code and cause the same to be published pursuant to Section 1773.3 of the said Labor Code.
