A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK COMMENDING COUNCILMAN
LARRY CHIMBOLE AND EXPRESSING THE CITY'S
APPRECIATION FOR HIS DEVOTED SERVICE ON
BEHALF OF THE CITIES OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY
WHEREAS, Larry Chimbole has served most ably ar President
of the Los Angeles Division of the League of California Cities,
from September 21, 1972 to September 20, 1973, and
WHEREAS, Larry Chimbole served as a member of the Board
since August 24, 1962 until his election as President of the Los
Angeles Division of the League of California Cities, and
WHEREAS, he has contributed immeasurably to the growth
and development of the League for many years, and
WHEREAS, he has served with honesty and devoted invaluable
time and effort on behalf of the member cities of the League, and
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park desires to publicly
recognize and express its sincere appreciation and gratitude for
his outstanding contributions to the League,;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does resolve that Larry Chimbole be, and he-hereby is,
commended for his devotion and service on behalf of the League.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that he be granted this Resolution
in commemoration of his meritorious service to the cities of Los
Angeles County as a token of the City's heartfelt gratitude for
the fine example of leadership he has set for the organization.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park has caused this Resolution to be adopted by the
unanimous vote of the members thereof on the 5th day of September,
1973, and has caused the same to be subscribed to by the entire
membership of the City Council.
