A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK COMMENDING AND
RECOGNIZING TOE FAIR EXHIBIT COMMITTEE
FOR THE CITY'S PRIZE-WINNING EXHIBIT
PROGRESS WITH PRIDE"
WHEREAS, the Fair Exhibit Committee of the Baldwin Park
Chamber of Commerce was appointed to design and execute the City's
Exhibit at the Los Angeles County Fair, and
WHEREAS, the Fair Exhibit Committee gave of their time and
efforts to build an exhibit representative of our City, and
WHEREAS, this committee has worked diligently and tire-
lessly, and
WHEREAS, the exhibit built through their efforts has for
the fourth time won First Place among cities in our population
class at the Los Angeles County Fair;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Council of the
City of Baldwin Park is appreciative and commends the Fair Exhibit
Committee for its prize-winning exhibit.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council wishes to express
its deep appreciation to each member of the committee and each sub-
committee member for his interest, effort and civic action in
designing and executing an exhibit of which the City of Baldwin
Park can be justly proud.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park has caused this Resolution to be adopted by the unani-
mous vote of the members thereof on the 19th day of September, 1973,
and has caused the same to be subscribed to by the entire membership
of the City Council.
