A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT RELATING TO
THE ABANDONED VEHICLE ABATEMENT PROGRAM.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1, That the City Council has heretofore found
that the public interest, convenience and necessity require
th^t it enter into an appropriate contractual arrangement
witli the Department of California Highway Patrol, pursuant
to applicable sections of the Vehicle Code of the State of
California, relating to the Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Pro-
gram.
SECTION 2. That the City Council has heretofore re-
viewed the contents of the proposed agreement between tlic
said City and tlie Department of California Highway Patrol,
and does hereby direct the Mayor and City Clerk to execute
the same on behalf of the City of Baldwin Park.
Section 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution and shall forward a copy hereof
to the Department of California Highway Patrol. Attention
Lt, ri. L. Mitchell, AVA Program Coordinator.
