A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK, RELATING TO OFFICIAL COPIES
OF PLANS OF BUILDINGS FOR WHICH BUILDING
PERMITS ARE ISSUED
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
RESOLVE:
WHEREAS, effective March 4, 1972, Chapter 10(com-
mencing with Section 19850) will be added to Part 3,
Division 13 of the California Health and Safety Code;
and,
WHEREAS, Section 18950 of the Health and Safety Code
provides that the building department of every city or
county shall maintain an official copy, which may be on
microfilm or other type of photographic copy, of the plans
of every building, during the life of such building, for
which such department issued a permit, with the exception
of those buildings specified therein; and,
WHEREAS, Section 19852 of the Health and Safety Code
provides that the governing body of a city or county may
prescribe such fees as will pay the expenses incurred by
the building department of such city or county in maintain-
ing the official copy of the plans of buildings for which
it has issued a building permit;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby resolve, determine and order as
follows:
SECTION 1. Effective July 1, 1974, the Baldwin Park
Building is charged with the responsibility of complying
with the provisions of Health and Safety Code Section 19850
et seq.; and
SECTION 2. Effective July 1, 1974, the fees to be
collected from applicants to pay the expenses incurred in
maintaining the official copy of the plans of buildings
for which the Building issues a building permit shall be as
follows:
Size of Sheet Fee
8-1/2 inches by 11 inches 10 cents per sheet
or smaller
Larger than 8-1/2 inches 30 cents per sheet
by 11 inches
Any document which contains information on two sides shall
be considered as two sheets.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adop-
tion of this Resolution.
