A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK COMMENDING
JOHN P. GORDON
FOR HIS OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
WHEREAS, JOHN P. GORDON has tendered his resignation as
Planning Director of the City of Baldwin Park to become
effective October 17, 1974; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Gordon served the City of Baldwin Park between
1967 and 1974 in the respective capacities of Assistant City
Engineer and Planning Director; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Gordon was appointed Planning Director of the
City of Baldwin Park in 1971 in which capacity he has continuously
served the City since his appointment; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Gordon has faithfully served the City of Baldwin
Park, in each of the aforesaid capacities, with great skill,
dedication and integrity,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Baldwin Park, for and on behalf of the community, does
hereby recognize and commend JOHN P. GORDON for his outstanding
service to the City, and wishes him well in his future endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be
presented to Mr. Gordon in appreciation of his service to the
community.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.
