A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DESIGNATING
THE CITY OF VALLE DE BRAVO AS THE
SISTER CITY OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does hereby find, determine and declare, as follows:
a) That the City of Valle de Bravo, Mexico,
has been considered for affiliation with this City
as its Sister City; and
b) That officials of Valle de Bravo have
indicated their willingness to accept such
affiliation; and
c) That the public interest, convenience and
necessity will be promoted by the Sister City
affiliation as above described.
SECTION 2. That the City of Valle de Bravo be, and here-
by is, affiliated with the City of Baldwin Park, in the
capacity of Sister City, to and with the City of Baldwin Payk.
SECTION 3. That the City Council shall implement the
Sister City affiliation, hereby formally approved, by the
appointment of a citizen's committee and by such funding as
it may determine appropriate*
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution and shall forward a certified
copy hereof to the Honorable Senior Lie. Jose Bravo Ortiz,
Mayor of the City of Valle de Bravo.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 20th day of November, 1974.
