HomeMy WebLinkAbout1975 005 CC RESO1975 005 CC RESO;¢fì÷³RESOLUTION NO. 75-5 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ESTABLISHING A HOLIDAY PLAN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1, The attached hereto, incorporated herein by this reference, marked Exhibit A", is a holiday plan, adopted pursuant to Section 2251 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, relating to all positions in the City's employment whi-ch are designated and classed as Classified and Unclassified Service" positions in such employ. SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and shall forward a certified copy hereof to the City Manager, each department head of the City, and the Secretary of the Personnel Board. January 1st, known as New Year's Day" 2. the 3rd Monday in February, known as Washington's Birthday" 3. Good Friday, from 12 noon to 3 p.m. 4. the last Monday in May, known as Memorial Day" 5. July 4th, known as Independence Day" 6. the 1st Monday in September, known as Labor Day" 7. September 9th, known as Admission Day" 8. November llth, known as Armistice Day" 9. the day in November designated as Thanksgiving Day" 10. December 25th, known as Christmas Day" 11. such other days as may be designated as holidays by motion of the City Council 12. if January 1st, July 4th, September 9th, November llth, or December 25th falls upon a Sunday, the Monday following shall be deemed to be a holiday; if any of the holidays designated in this subparagraph falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be deemed to be a holiday.
