A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK APPROVING
AN APPLICATION FOR ASSISTANCE TO
SENIOR CITIZENS UNDER TITLE III OF
THE OLDER AMERICANS ACT OF 1965 /
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS;
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does hereby find and determine as follows:
a) That a personalized door-to-door
vehicular transportation service for
the elderly and handicapped citizens
of Baldwin Park is a vital key toward
maintaining an adequate life style.
b) That the City Manager, or his authorized
representative, submit an application by
the City of Baldwin Park to the California
Office on Aging, as provided under Title
III of the Older Americans Act of 1965,
is hereby authorized and approved.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adop-
tion of this Resolution and shall cause certified copies thereof
to be forwarded to all interested parties.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of January, 1975.
