A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING THE CIRCULATION AND
COMMUNITY DESIGN ELEMENTS OF THE CITY'S
GENERAL PLAN TO INCLUDE OLIVE STREET BETWEEN
RIVERGRADE ROAD AND CENTER STREET CASE NO. AGP-30)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
resolve as follows:
a) That pursuant to the applicable provisions of the
Planning and Zoning Law Section 65300 et seq. of the Govern-
ment Code of the State of California), studies were commenced
for the purpose of amending the Circulation and Comnunity
Design Elements of the City's General Plan so as to add Olive
Street, as a future street, between Center Street and River-
grade Road, and to show that portion of Olive Street on the
Circulation Element, as a collector street; and
b) That the Planning Commission has conducted a noticed
public hearing on the proposed amendment to the said Circulation
and Community Design Elements, as hereinafter described; and
c) That the Planning Commission has recommended the
adoption of said amendment; and
d) That the City Council has conducted a noticed public
hearing on said recommendation, and has determined that the
public interest requires the adoption of said amendment.
SECTION 2. That the amendments to the Circulation and Community
Design Elements of the City's General Plan, as set forth on Exhibit A"
attached hereto, and incorporated herein by this reference be, and the
same hereby are approved and adopted.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and shall cause the same to be processed in the manner
required by law.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 18th day of June. 1975.
