A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK REQUESTING AN ALLOCA-
TION OF AID TO CITIES FUNDS FOR THE TRAFFIC
SIGNAL INSTALLATION AT BALDWIN PARK BOULE-
VARD AND LOS ANGELES STREET GAS TAX PROJECT
NO. 150)
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has appropriated certain monies
to the City of Baldwin Park as County Aid to Cities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park desires to
expend the amount of $24,186.00 of said funds accrued to the City for the
traffic signal installation at Baldwin Park Boulevard and Los Angeles Street;
and
WHEREAS, Baldwin Park Boulevard and Los Angeles Street are included
in the City's currently approved Select System of Streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park as follows:
SECTION 1. That the County of Los Angeles is hereby requested to
allocate $24,186.00 of the Aid to Cities Funds apportioned to the City for
the work specified above and to pay this amount to the City when claimed.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall forward a certified copy of
this resolution to the Los Angeles County Road Commissioner for processing.
PASSED. APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of August
1975.
