A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC
INTEREST, CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY
REQUIRE THE ACQUISITION OF EASEMENTS
ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare that
the public interest, convenience, and necessity require
the acquisition by said City of easements on certain
real property, for public utility purposes.
SECTION 2. That it is the intention of said City
Council to acquire said property in its name, by a pro-
ceeding in condemnation, in accordance with the provisions
of the Code of Civil Procedure of the State of California.
SECTION 3. That said property hereinabove referred
to. the acquisition of which is required by said public
interest, convenience,and necessity, for the purposes set
forth in SECTION 1 hereof, is located in the City of
Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
and is more particularly described on Exhibit A" attached
hereto, incorporated herein and made a part hereof by this
reference.
SECTION 4. That the City Attorney of the City of
Baldwin Park, and Martin and Flandrick, Inc., Special
Counsel, are hereby authorized and directed to prepare,
institute and prosecute, in the name of said City, such
proceedings in the proper Court having jurisdiction thereof
as may be necessary for the acquisition of said real property
above described.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution and forward copies hereof to
the City Attorney.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of December
1975.
