A RESOLUTION OF THE BALDWIN PARK CITY COUNCIL
APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE COMMUNITY DESIGN
ELEMENT OF THE BALDWIN PARK GENERAL PLAN TO
INCLUDE THAT PORTION OF THE EAST SAN GABRIEL
VALLEY BIKEWAY MASTER PLAN WHICH LIES WITHIN
THE BALDWIN PARK CITY LIMITS.
INITIATED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION
CASE NO.: AGP-34
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
resolve as follows:
a) That pursuant to the applicable provisions of the Planning and
Zoning Law Section 65300 et seq. of the Government Code of the
State of California), studies were commenced for the purpose of
amending the Community Design Element of the City's General Plan
so as to include that portion of the East San Gabriel Valley
Bikeway Master Plan which lies within the Baldwin Park City Limits
b) That the Planning Commission has conducted a noticed public
hearing on the proposed amendment to the said Community Design
Elements, as hereinafter described; and
c) That the Planning Commission has recommended the adoption of
said amendment; and
d) That the City Council has conducted a noticed public hearing on
said recommendation, and has determined that the public interest
requires the adoption of said amendment.
SECTION 2. That the amendment to the Community Design Element of the
City's General Plan, as set forth on Exhibit C" attached
hereto, and incorporated herein by this reference be, and
the same hereby are approved and adopted.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution and shall cause the same to be processed in the
manner required by law.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of April, 1976.

approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
