A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK APPROVING A
HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
PROGRAM BUDGET PLAN AND HOUSING
ASSISTANCE PLAN
WHEREAS the City of Baldwin Park did approve a Cooperation
Agreement with the Los Angeles County Department of Urban
Affairs on December 5, 1975; and
WHEREAS the City of Baldwin Park is applying for Housing and
Community Act funds as a result of that agreement; and
WHEREAS the City expects to receive from Los Angeles County
Department of Urban Affairs $164,165. in Housing Community
Development Act funds; and
WHEREAS these funds wilt be spent in conformance with rules and
regulations of HUD and the Los Angeles County Department of
Urban Affairs; and
WHEREAS the City prepared a Housing Assistance Plan HAP and the Housing
and Community Development Program Budget Plan; and
WHEREAS the programmed Housing and Community Development Program
Budget items are permitted projects categorized as: Community
Center Rehabilitation $30,000.), Housing Rehabilitation $75,000.),
Planning Management Studies $50,000.), and Housing Community
Development Act Administration $9,165.); and
FURTHERMORE, the City of Baldwin Park hereby declared concurrence with
the County of Los Angeles Department of Urban Affairs Relocation
Plan) pursuant to the Federal Register Section 570.303(e.3) dated
July 9, 1975.
THEREFORE, let it be resolved that the City of Baldwin Park hereby
approves the Housing Assistance Plan and Housing and Community
Development Program Budget Plan and description.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of April, 1976.
