ZV-309 APPLICANT: C. LES PERANCE) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare as follows: a. That the owner of certain real property at 14722 Olive Street, in the City of Baldwin Park, California, more particularly described as: Parcel 2: That portion of the easterly 206.00 feet of the west 12.50 acres of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 8, Township 1 South, Range 10 west, San Bernard!no Base and Meridian, in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, according to the official plat thereof tying northerly of the northerly boundary line of Tract No. 20289, in said County and State as per map recorded in Book 546, Pages 13 and 14 of Maps records of said County. EXCEPT therefrom the easterly 25.00 feet, measured along the notherly 75.00 feet, measured along the easterly line of said land. heretofore filed a zone variance application to develop parcels of land with less side yard, lot frontage and minimum lot size areas as required in Section 9552 et seq. of the Baldwin Park Zoning Ordinance; and b. That the Planning Commission conducted a duly noticed public hearing upon said application and thereafter determined that the said variance should be denied for the reasons set forth in their said Resolution No. PC76-10; and c. That a timely notice of appeal was filed, appealing the decision of the Planning Commission to the City Council; and d. That the said matter was set for public hearinq on March 17, 1976; and e. That at the time set for hearing, no evidence of any sort other than the Staff reports and Planning Commission files was submitted to the Council, and thereafter the Council, each member of which being familiar with the subject property, determined that the facts required by the provisions of Section 9471 et seq. of the Baldwin Park Zoning Ordinance were not present, and determined that the zone variance appeal should be denied. SECTION 2. That the above described zone variance appeal be, and the same hereby is, DENIED for the reasons set forth herein. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify the adoption hereof and forward a copy of this Resolution to the Secretary of the Planning Commission.
