A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK, APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE ASSIGN-
MENT TO THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK FROM THE CITY OF
MANHATTAN BEACH OF $360,000 OF FEDERAL-AID URBAN
FUNDS ORIGINALLY APPORTIONED TO THE CITY OF MAN-
HATTAN BEACH FOR FISCAL YEARS 1973-74, 1974-75 and
1975-76
WHEREAS, the City of Manhattan Beach has approved the assignment
of $360,000 of its three year apportionment of Federal Aid Urban funds
for the fiscal years of 1973-74, 1974-75 and 1975-76 by Resolution No.
3443 passed, approved and adopted on the ISthday of May
1976, by the City Council of the City of Manhattan Beach to the City of
Baldwin Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City of Baldwin Park approves and accepts the assign-
ment of $360,000 of the three year apportionment of Federal Aid Urban funds
allocated to the City of Manhattan Beach for the fiscal years of 1973-74,
1974-75 and 1975-76, said assignment being approved and adopted by the City-
Council of the City of Manhattan Beach by Resolution No. 3443 on the 18th
day of May 1976.
SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park requests
that the joint cooperative Federal Aid Urban Committee indicate acceptance
of the assignments of Federal funds indicated in Section 1 of this resolution
at its earliest convenience.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward certified
copies of this resolution to the City of Manhattan Beach, the Joint Coopera-
tive Federal-Aid Urban Committee, Los Angeles County Road Commission, and
the California Department of Transportation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of June 1976.
