A RESOLUTION OF THL CIIY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
COMMENDING LUCY VILLEGAS FOR
HER OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
WHEREAS, Lucy V-illegas is moving from our C-ity to take UD
residence in Arizona; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Villegas has been active for many years supporting
civic programs of the City; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Vitlegas has given much of her time and enerqy
to the service of youth in Baldwin Park, and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Villegas has ox'iib-Jted the highest interest and
personal dedication to the cause of the youth of the City of Baldwin Park;
and
WHEREAS, through Mrs. Vitlegas' efforts and support the Parents
and Youth Organization of Baldwin Park has rapidly become an active,
viable organization; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Viltegas' active personal interest and support
will be sincerely missed and difficult to replace.
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Baldwin Park hereby expresses its sincere appreciation and
admiration to Mrs. Lucy Viltegas for her dedicated efforts in the best
interest of the Youth and the City of Baldwin Park and wishes her well
in her future residence.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to
the adoption of the resolution and shall submit a certified copy thereof
to Mrs. Lucy Villegas.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of June, 1976.
