A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING THE DESIGNATION OF
THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN FROM
SINGLE FAMILY TO MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
17 DWELLING UNITS TO THE ACRE AND CERTIFYING
THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL
IMPACT CASE NO. AGP-37)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does resolve as follows:
a. That pursuant to the applicable provisions of the
Planning and Zoning Law Section 65300 et seq. of
the Government Code of the Stcte of California),
studies were commenced for the purpose of amending
the Land Use Element of the City's General Plan; and
b. That the Planning Commission has cond-jcted a noticed
public hearing on the proposec amendnent to the said
Land Use Element, as hereinafter described; and
c. That the Planning Commission has recommended the adoption
of said amendment; and
d. That the City Council has conducted a noticed public
hearing on said recommendation, and has determined that
the public interest required the adoption of said amendment.
SECTION 2. That the Land Use Element of he City's General
Plan, as set forth on Exhibit A" attached hereto, and incorporated
herein by this reference be, and the same hereby is, adopted and
approved.
SECTION 3. That the City Council, at the time of the public
hearing, relating to said General Plan, considered and hereby
certifies a Negative Declaration of Environmental Impact with
respect to said General Plan amendnent.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution and shall cause the same to be processed in the
manner required by law.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 21st day of April 1977.
