A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK MODIFYING
SPECIFIC PLAN 9 AND DIRECTING ACTION
TO VACATE STREET PREVIOUSLY DEDICATED
AND CERTIFYING THE NEGATIVE
DECLARATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
CASE NO. SP-9)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City o^' Baldwin Park does
resolve as follows:
a. That on the 21st day of April, 1977, the City Council
held a duly noticed public hearing on Specific Plan
9, and modified said Plan to delete alt future streets
on Blocks 1 and 2, except a triangle a1. the inter-
section of Robinette and Tracy.
b. That a reduction in residential density has been
effected; and
c. That there is no longer a need for the proposed
street; and
d. That the future streets on Blocks 1 anc 2 of
Exhibit A" are aligned contrary to current
development schedules; and
e. That the public interest and convenience necessitates
the modification of SP-9.
SECTION 2- That the City Council hereby amends SP-9 to delete all
future streets on Blocks 1 and 2 except a triangle at the intersection of
Robinette and Tracy Avenue as shown on Exhibit A".
SECTION 3. That the City Council, at the time of the public hearing,
relating to the Specific Plan Change SP-9), considered and hereby certifies
a Negative Declaration of Environmental Impact with respect to said
resolution.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution and forward a copy thereof to the Secretary of the Planning
Commission.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of April, 1977.
