LATHROP FOR HIS OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK WHEREAS, recognition of outstanding public service is in the interest of justice and encourages continued effort and dedication; and WHEREAS, the people of Baldwin Park desire that their public servants receive proper recognition for their efforts to make Baldwin Park a better place to live; and WHEREAS, since November 4, 1974, JOHN S. LATHROP has served as Director of Public Works in an outstanding manner; and WHEREAS, he has contributed invaluably to the City of Baldwin Park in its median projects, street improvement programs, and EDA Public Services Building Grant Application. NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby commend JOHN S. LATHROP for the outstanding service he has performed as Director of Public Works, and on behalf of the community expresses its appreciation and wishes him well in all future endeavors. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of May, 1977. ATTEST: L^ /e^j^ THELMA L.
