A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS INTEN-
TION TO VACATE THAT CERTAIN STREET EASEMENT
BETWEEN ALDERSON AVENUE AND DOWNING AVENUE
77-V-2)
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby declare its intention to consider the vacation of that certain street
easement between Alderson Avenue and Downing Avenue, in the City of Baldwin
Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as shown on that certain
map or plan on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City, being
designated as No. 77-V-2 and to which reference is hereby made for further
particulars, said area proposed for vacation is described as follows:
BaTIentine Place Street Easement as shown on Map 77-V-2
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby elect to proceed under and by virtue of the provisions of Section
8300 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 3. That in accordance with Section 65402 of the Government
Code, this matter is hereby referred to the Planning Commission for review
with respect to conformance with the General Plan.
SECTION 4. That the hour of 7:30 P.M. on the 18th day of August,
1977, is hereby fixed as the time, and the Council Chambers at the City Hall
located at 14403 East Pacific Avenue. City of Baldwin Park, County of Los
Angeles, State of California, is hereby fixed as the place for hearing a11
persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation as above described
SECTION 5. That the Street Superintendent shall cause notices to
be posted in the manner set forth in Section 8322 of the Streets and Highways
Code.
SECTION 6. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution and cuase the same to be published or posted in the manner
prescribed by law.
PASSED. APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of July 1977.
