A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ORDERING THE VACA-
TION OF THAT CERTAIN STREET EASEMENT
BETWEEN ALDERSON AVENUE AND DOWNING AVE-
NUE AND CERTIFYING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION
OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT 77-V-2)
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the Street Vacation
Act of 1941", the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park, did on the 7th
day of July, 1977, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 77-43, declaring
its intention to vacate that certain street easement between Alderson Avenue
and Downing Avenue in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, as shown on Map 77-V-2.
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention was duly published and notice
of street vacation duly posted, all in the form, place, time and manner re-
quired by law and all legal requirements have been met.; and
WHEREAS, this City Council, at the hearing designated by said Resolu-
tion of Intention, on the 18th day of August, 1977, heard all of the evidence
offered in relation to the proposed vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
FIND, DETERMINE, RESOLVE and ORDER, as follows:
SECTION 1. That said certain street easement between Alderson Avenue
and Downing Avenue, as shown on Map 77-V-2, not being needed for present or
prospective public street purposes, and therefore the same be and is hereby,
vacated for public street purposes.
SECTION 2. That the City Council, at the time of the public hearing,
relating to the vacation of that certain street easement between Alderson
Avenue and Downing Avenue, considered and hereby certifies a Negative Declara-
tion of Environmental Impact with respect to said Resolution.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to certify to the
passage of this Resolution and shall cause a certified copy thereof, attested
by her under the seal of the City to be recorded in the office of the County
Recorder, Los Angeles County, California.

The southerly 30 feet of the westerly 78 feet of Lot 1 of Edwin Alderson's
Acre Lot Tract, in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, as per map recorded in Book 13, page 28 of Maps, in the
office of the County Recorder of said County.
