A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK COMMENDING
CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS FOR PUBLIC
SERVICE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the image of our community, and thereby the quality of life
of its citizens, is enhanced by the participation and representation of our
Community in regional events of a public relations nature; and
WHEREAS, our Community has been represented in an outstanding manner
for the past eight years at the Los Angeles County Fair, winning first place
in its population division for Civic Exhibits; and
WHEREAS, in 1977, the Civic Exhibit again won first place in its
division and also won the 50th Los Angeles County Special Award for Outstanding
Community Exhibit as the best civic e>hib1t regardless of size.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that for their priceless and
selfless contribution to this most worthy effort

AND
THE BALDWIN PARK CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
be commended for public service; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
