A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DENYING A
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO OPERATE A
PACKAGED LIQUOR STORE WITH AN
INCIDENTAL SELF-SERVE SERVICE STATION
AT 1870 PUENTE AVENUE. CASE NO: CP-254
APPLICANT: STEFAN JAWORSKI
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby find and determine:
a. That the Planning Commission held a duty noticed
public hearing on an application for a conditional
use permit to operate a oackaged liquor store
with an incidental self-serve service station in
C-1 zone; and
b. That the property to which said conditional use
permit relates is located at 1870 Puente Avenue in
the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, more particularly described as:
Lot 1, Tract 19553, Map Book 625, Pages 2-4 as
recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of
Los Angeles County.
c. That the Planning Commission denied such application
and thereafter a timely appeal was filed, appealing
the Planning Commission's decision to the City Council;
and that the City Council held a duly noticed hearing
on said matter, took testimony, and upon having found
that the facts, required by Section 9473 of the
Baldwin Park Municipal Code, were not present, took
action to confirm the decision of the Planning Commission
denying the appeal.
SECTION 2. That the conditional use permit, as described above, is
hereby denied.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution and shall forward a copy thereof to the applicant
and the Secretary of the Planning Commission.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 3RD DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1977.
