A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DENYING A
ZONE CHANGE FROM ZONE C-1 TO ZONE
C-2 CASE NO. Z-414; APPLICANT: DON
HARGENS)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby find and determine as follows:
a. That on the 15th day of December, 1977, the City Council
held a duly noticed public hearing on the application
for a zone change from C-1 to C-2 on certain hereafter
described real property; and
b. That the property to which said zone change application
relates is located at 4811 Azusa Canyon Road in the City
of Baldwin Park. County of Los Angeles, State of
California, more particularly described as:
Those certain contiguous 0.25 +/- acre and 0.06 +/-
acre parcels located northerly of Olive Street, westerly
of Azusa Canyon Road, southerly of the south line of
Tract 13327 M.B. 307-27, Los Angeles County Recorder and
easterly of a tine being the southerly prolongation of
the west line of said Tract 13327.
SECTION 2. That the City Council hereby DENIES the Zone Change on the
following findings:
a. That the property by size and location is not conducive
to general cormiercial activity.
b. That this change of zone to general commercial would not be
consistent with the commercial character of the General
Plan.
c. That the property is more suited to the development of
neighborhood commercial activities.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of December, 1977.
