A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS
ANNEXATION NO. 23"
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission on November 23, 1977
approved Annexation No. 23 pursuant to Section 54797.1 of the Government Code;
and
WHEREAS, the revised legal description of said annexation is attached
hereto, marked Exhibit A"; and
WHEREAS, the map delineating said annexation is attached hereto,
marked Exhibit B"; and
WHEREAS, the subject area will not be taxed for any previous bonded
indebtedness or contractual obligations; and
WHEREAS, the Negative Declaration of Environmental Impact was
certified pursuant to Case No. Z-410;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park, does hereby approve Annexation No. 23".
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of December 1977.

Revised Description)
That portion of the Rancho La Puente in the County of Los
Angeles, State of California per map recorded in Book 1,
pages 43 and 44 of Patents, in the office of the Recorder
of said county described as follows:
Beginning at tho intersection of the westerly prolongation
of the southerly line of Tract No. 26383 as shown on map filed
in Book 674, pages 4 and 5 of aps in the office of said recorder,
for the purpose of this description said westerly prolongation
has a bearing of South 82° 02' 32" West/ and a straight line
which bears North 51° 17' 10" West and which passes through a
point in a line parallel wi-t-h and 20 feet northwesterly, measured
at right angles, from the northwesterly line of Lot 77 of
Tract No. 14056 as snown on map filed in Book 300, page 24 of
said Maps, distant southwesterly along said parallel line
465 feet from the northwesterly prolongation of the southwest-
erly line of said lot, said intersect!on being an angle point in
the boundary of the City of Baldwin Park as same existed on
September 1, 1977; thence westerly along said westerly prolongation
to the southeasterly corner of Lot 137 of Tract No. 19500 as
shown on map filed in Book 532, pages 39 to 43 inclusive of said
Maps; thence northerly along the boundary of said last mentioned
tract and following the same in all its various courses to the
intersection of the southeasterly line of Lot 102 of said last
mentioned tract and a line parallel with and 78.50 feet south-

westerly, measured at right angles, from that certain course
having a bearing of N 51° 14' 37" W in the southerly line of
Ledford Street as shown on said last mentioned map; thence
southeasterly along said last mentioned parallel line a
distance of 115 feet to an angle point in said boundary of
the City of Baldwin Park; thence southwesterly along said last
mentioned boundary and following the same in all its various
courses to the point of beginning.
