A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK COMMENDING
COACH TY PAGONE OF BALDWIN PARK HIGH
SCHOOL FOR PUBLIC SERVICE TO THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK
WHEREAS, the people of Baldwin Park desire that individuals
contributing to the healthy physical and spiritual development of youth be
recognized and commended; and
WHEREAS, athletic competition and accomplishment instill in youth
the virtues of self discipline, fair play, courage and teamwork; and
WHEREAS, Coach Ty Pagone led the Baldwin Park High School Varsity
Football Team, The Braves, to an undefeated regular season, the Montview
League Championship and honorable representation of the City in CIF ptayoff
games.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Baldwin Park does hereby commend Coach Ty Pagone for public service.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park expresses, on behalf of the people of Baldwin Park, its deepest
gratitude for the efforts of Coach Pagone and wishes him continued success.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of January. 1978.
