A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AUTHORIZING ACCESS
TO STATE SUMMARY CRIMINAL HISTORY
INFORMATION FOR CERTAIN LIMITED PURPOSES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to Section 11105 of the Penal Code of
the State of California, the City Council of this City is hereby authorized
access to state summary criminal history information, as that phrase is
defined in Section 11105 of the said Penal Code, for use by him in
conjunction with the review of employment applications pursuant to the City's
Civil Service Regulations, and to the licensing requirement for certain
specified businesses and occupations specifically referred to in the Municipal
Code.
SECTION 2. That the City of Baldwin Park shall keep confidential
all such information received by him for the limited purposes above described
and shall not utilize any of the said information for any purpose other than
that expressly referred to in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3.
Resolution.
That the City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of February 1978.
