A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS INTEN-
TION TO VACATE THAT CERTAIN STREET EASEMENT
BETWEEN WALNUT AVENUE AND CENTER STREET
78-V-1)
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does hereby declare its intention to consider the vacation
of that certain street easement between Walnut Avenue and Center
Street, in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, as shown on that certain map or plan on file in
the office of the City Clerk of said City, being designated as
No. 78-V-1 and to which reference is hereby made for further
particulars, said area proposed for vacation is described as
fol1ows:
Monterey Avenue future street easement as shown on
Map 78-V-1 Exhibit B"
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
does hereby elect to proceed under and by virtue of the provisions
of Section 8300 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
Cali forni a.
SECTION 3. That in accordance with Section 65402 of the
Government Code, this matter is hereby referred to the Planning
Commission for review with respect to conformance with the
General PI an.
SECTION 4. That the hour of 7:30 P.M. on the 3rd day
of May, 1978, is hereby fixed as the time, and the Council
Chambers at the City Hail located at 14403 East Pacific Avenue,
City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
is hereby fixed as the place for hear ing a11 persons interested
in or object ing to the proposed vacation as above described.
SECTION 5. That the Street Superintendent shall cause
notices to be posted in the manner set forth in Section 8322
of the Streets and Highways Code.
SECTION 6. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution and cause the same to be published
or posted in the manner prescribed by law.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of April
1978.
