A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL pF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK APPROVING AN AGREEMENT
BETWEEN SAIP CITY AND THE BALDWIN PARK
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY PURSUANT TO HEALTH AND
SAFETY CODE SECTION 33126
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Law of the State of
California Health and Safety Code Sections 33000 et seq,)/
among other provisions granting powers to redevelopment agencies,
contains Section 33126 which provides that a redevelopment
agency may contract with any other agency for the furnishing
of any necessary staff and support services associated with or
required by redevelopment and which coi,ild be performed by the
staff of an agency? and
WHEREAS, a need has been established for staff and support
services to effect the functions of the Redevelopment Agency of
the City of Baldwin Park; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 33126 et seq. of the
Community Redevelopment Law of the State of California, the
Redevelopment Agency finds it necessary to contrsac?! with the
City of Baldwin Park for staff and support services in carrying
out the functions of the Agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the ity of Baldwin Park
finds, determines and resolves as follows:
SECTION 1- That the Agreement attached hereto, incorporated
herein by this reference, marked Exhibit A" by and between the
City of Baldwin Park and the Baldwin Park Redevelopment Agency
to provide staff and support services as therein contained, is
hereby approved.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute an Agreement with the Agency in substantially
the form attached hereto.
SECTION 3- The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this19thday of April 1978.
