A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING A NEED FOR
HOUSING REHABILITATION ASSISTANCE WITHIN
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park,
California hereby determines, finds and declares, that:
a. Unsanitary and unsafe inhabited dwelling accomo-
dations exist in the City of Baldwin Park; and
b. There is a shortage of safe and sanitary dwelling
accomodations in the City of Baldwin Park, California,
available to persons of low and moderate income; and
c. There is need of affordable financial assistance
for homeowners in the City of Baldwin Park, California.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby, express its desire to participate in the California Housing Finance
Agency, Neighborhood Preservation Program, and authorizes staff to process
the applicable applications.
Section 3. The City Clerk of the City of Baldwin Park, California
shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of April, 1978.
