A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ORDERING THE VACA-
TION OF A CERTAIN STREET EASEMENT BETWEEN
WALNUT AVENUE AND CENTER STREET
78-V-1)
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1941", the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park» did on the 5th day of April, 1978 adopt its Resolution of
Intention No. 78-36 declaring its intention to vacate a certain
street easement between Walnut Avenue and Center Street in the
City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
as shown on Map 78-V-1, Exhibit B".
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention was duly published
and notice of street vacation duly posted, all in the form, place,
time and manner required by law and all legal requirements have
been met; and
WHEREAS, this City Council, at the hearing designated
by said Resolution of Intention, on the 19th day of April. 1978
offered in relation to the proposed vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does FIND, DETERMINE. RESOLVE and ORDER, as follows:
SECTION 1. That said certain street easement between
Walnut Avenue and Center Street, as shown on Map 78-V-1. not
being needed for present or prospective public street purposes,
and therefore the same be and 1s hereby.vacated for public
street purposes-
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
certify to the passage of this Resolution and shall cause a
certified copy thereof, attested by her under the seal of the
City to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder, Los
Angeles County, Call to mi a.
PASSED. APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 3rd__day of May______.
