A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK. CALIFORNIA.
INITIATING ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS
ANNEXATION NO. 24"
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park has received a written request
from the property owner for an Annexation to Baldwin Park and detachment
from West Covina of the following described property:
The southwesterly 9 ft. of the northerly 50 ft.
of Lot 10 Tract 13721, Los Angeles County
Recorder's Office, Book 273 Page 49 & 50, more
commonly known as 14552 Garvey Avenue;
WHEREAS, the subject property is contiguous with property under
the same ownership presently within the boundaries of Baldwin Park; and
WHEREAS, prezone change Z-418 has been initiated;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Baldwin Park does hereby initiate an annexation/detachment for the above
described property to be known as Annexation No. 24".
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of May, 1978.
