A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE GRANT AGREEMENT DOCUMENTS FOR
THE PURPOSE OF OBTAINING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
PURSUANT TO THE PUBLIC WORKS AND ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1965
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park has applied for financial assistance
pursuant to the Public Works and Economic Development Act of 1965, for
the construction of an industrial street in the San Gabriel River Redevelopment
Area; and
WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Adminis-
tration has made an offer of Grant to construct said street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor is authorized'to execute
any and a11 necessary documents on behalf of the City of Baldwin Park for
the purpose of obtaining financial assistance pursuant to the Public Works
and Economic Development Act of 1965, including any extensions and/or
amendments thereof;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of July, 1978.
