A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO VACATE THOSE CERTAIN STREET EASEMENTS
78-V-2)
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby declare its intention to consider the vacation of those certain street
easements in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California
as shown on that certain map or plan on file in the office of the City Clerk of
said City, being designated as No. 78-V-2 and to which reference Is hereby made
for further particulars, said area proposed for vacation is described as follows:
1. That portion of San Gabriel River Parkway, within the City of Baldwin
Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as shown of Tract No. 16918,
Map Book 396 10, 11; recorded in the office of the County Recorder of said
County.
2. The following described real property in the City of Baldwin Park, Los
Angeles County, California, more particularly described as follows:
A portion of Lot 4, Tract No. 11007, per map recorded in Book No. 193, pages 22
and 23 of Maps in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles,
State of California.
Beginning at the most northeasterly corner of said Lot 4, Tract No. 11007, Map
Book 193, pages 22 and 23; thence south 4F 26* 15" west 161.97 feet to the
point of commencement; thence through an arc having a radius of 45 feet, said
radius point located on the northerly property line, and an angle of 180° con-
cave to the northwest; thence along said arc 141.37 feet to where it intersects
with the northerly lot line of said Lot 4 distant 188.94 feet from the most
northwesterly corner' of said lot, thence north 41*, 26' 15" east 90 feet to the
point of commencement. Said strip of knd being a portion of a cul-de-sac), and
Beginning at the most northeasterly corner of said Lot 4, thence south 41", 26"
15" west 440.91 Feet to the point of commencement; thence south 51", 21' 22" east
45 feet; thence through an arc having a radius of 45 feet, said radius point
being the most northwesterly corner of Lot 4, and an angle of 90°concave to the
northwest; thence along said arc 70.68 feet to a point that intersects the
northerly line of Lot 4, being a distance of 395.91 feet from the point of
beginning; thence south 41°, 26' 15" west 45 feet to the point of commencement.
That portion of Lot 3 of Block C of Tract No. 11007 as per map recorded in Book
193, pages 22 and 23 of Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said County
described as follows:
Beginning at the most westerly corner of said Lot 3; thence northeasterly along
the northwesterly line of said Lot to a tine parallel with and distant 30 feet
northeasterly of the southwesterly line of said Lot; thence southeasterly along
said parallel line 12.29 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave to
the northeast and having a radius of 88 feet; thence southeasterly along said
curve to a tangent line bearing S 77^59* 01" E; thence southeasterly along said
tangent line 4.19 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave to the
southwest and having a radius of 45 feet; thence easterly along said last mentioned
curve to the southeasterly tine of sa-?d Lot; thence southwesterly along said
southeasterly line to the southwesterly line of said Lot; thence northwesterly
along said southwesterly line to the point of beginning.
3. That portion of Falconer Street within the City of Baldwin Park, County
of Los Angeles, State of California, as shown as Falconer Street and Future Street
on Tract No. 26197 Map Book 665 13, 14; recorded in the office of the County
Recorder of said County.
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby elect to proceed under and by virtue of the provisions of Section 8300
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 3. That in accordance with Section 65402 of the Government Code,
this matter is hereby referred to the Planning Commission for review with respect
to conformance with the General Plan.

SECTION 4. That the hour of 7:30 p.m. on the 4th day of October
is hereby fixed as the time, and the Council Chambers at the City Hall
located at 14403 East Pacific Avenue, City of Baldwin Park, County of Los
Angeles, State of California, is hereby fixed as the place for hearing alt
persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation as above
described.
SECTION 5. That the Street Superintendent shall cause notices to be
posted in the manner set forth in Section 8322 of the Streets and Highways
Code.
SECTION 6. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution and cause the same to be published or posted in the manner
prescribed by law.
