A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ORDERING THE VACATION
OF CERTAIN STREET EASEMENTS
78-V-2)
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of
1941", the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park, did on the 6th day of September,
adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 78-94, declaring its intention to vacate
certain street easements described as follows:
1. That portion of San Gabriel River Parkway, within the City of Baldwin Park,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, as shown on Tract No. 16918. Map Book 396
10, 11; recorded in the office of the County Recorder of said County.
2. The following described real property in the City of Baldwin Park, Los
Angeles County, California, more particularly described as follows; A portion of Lot 4,
Tract No.11007, per map recorded in Book No. 193, pages 22 and 23 of Maps in the office
of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, State of California.
Beginning at the most northeasterly corner of said Lot 4, Tract No.11007, Map Book 193,
pages 22 and 23; thence south 41', 26' 15" west 161.97 feet to the point of commencement;
thence through an arc having a radius of 45 feet, said radius point located on the
northerly property line, and an angle of 180'concave to the northwest; thence along said
arc 141.37 feet to where it Intersects with the northerly lot line of said Lot 4 distant
188.94 feet from the most northwesterly corner of said lot, thence north 4f, 26' 15"
east 90 feet to the point of commencement. Said strip of land being a portion of a
cul-de-sac), and;
Beginning at the most northeasterly corner of said Lot 4, thence south 41*, 26' 15" west
440.91 feet to the point of commencement; thence south 51", 21' 22" east 45 feet; thence
through an arc having a radius of 45 feet, said radius point being the most northwesterly
corner of Lot 4, and an angle of 9CT concave to the northwest; thence along said arc
70.68 feet to a point that intersects the northerly line of Lot 4, being a distance of
395.91 feet from the point of beginning; thence south 41^ 26' 15" west 45 feet to the
point of commencement.
That portion of Lot 3 of Block C of Tract No.11007 as per map recorded In Book 193, pages
22 and 23 of Maps In the office of the County Recorder of said County described as
follows:
Beginning at the most westerly corner of said Lot 3; thence northeasterly along the
northwesterly line of said Lot to a line parallel with and distant 30 feet northeasterly
of the southwesterly line of said Lot; thence southeasterly along said parallel line
12.29 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave to the northeast and having a
radius of 88 feet; thence southeasterly along said curve to a tangent line bearing
S 77*59' 01" E; thence southeasterly along said tangent 11ne 4.19 feet to the beginning
of a tangent curve, concave to the southwest and having a radius of 45 feet; thence
easterly along said last mentioned curve to the southeasterly 11ne of said Lot; thence
southwesterly along said southeasterly line to the southwesterly line of said Lot; thence
northwesterly along said southwesterly line to the point of beginning.
3. That portion of Falconer Street within the City of Baldwin Park»County of Los
Ange1es»State of California,as shown as Falconer Street & Future Street on Tr.#26197 M.B.
665-13, 14; recorded In the office of the County Recorder of said County.
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention was duly published and notice of street
vacation duly posted, all in the form, place, time and manner required by law and all
legal requirements have been met; and
WHEREAS, this City Council, at the hearing designated by said Resolution of
Intention, on the 4th day of October, 1978 offered In relation to the proposed vacation.
NOW. THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does FIND,
DETERMINE, RESOLVE and ORDER, as follows:
SECTION 1. That said certain street easements as shown on Map 78-V-2, not
being needed for present or prospective public street purposes, and therefore the same
be and is hereby, vacated for public street purposes.

SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to certify to the passage
of this Resolution and shall cause a certified copy thereof, attested by her under the
seal of the City to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder, Los Angeles County,
California.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of October_______, 1978.
