A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK COMMENDING
DR. WILLIAM G. NANCE FOR PUBLIC
SERVICE TO THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK.
WHEREAS, it is beneficial to the people of Baldwin Park for
patriotic ideals and an appreciation of American History to be instilled
in the youth of the community; and
WHEREAS, instilling such ideals and appreciation has been the
goal and service performed by Dr. William G. Nance, teacher in the Baldwin
Park School District; and
WHEREAS, he has been chosen as American Legion Valley Forge Teacher
of the year for his achievements in education; and
WHEREAS, the people of Baldwin Park desire that persons performing
such services be encouraged and honored.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that DR. WILLIAM G. NANCE be
commended for public service, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council and the people of Baldwin
Park express their deepest gratitude to Dr. William G. Nance and wish him
continued success.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of October, 1978.
