A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO VACATE THAT CERTAIN ALLEY EASEMENT
BETWEEN MERGED AVENUE AND BRESEE STREET

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does hereby declare its intention to consider the vacation of that
certain alley easement between Merced Avenue and Bresee Street, in
the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
described as follows:
That certain alley,adjacent to lots 9, 10, and 11
within Tract No. 11978 recorded in Book 219, Pages
37 and 38 of Maps in the Office of the Recorder of
said County.
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does hereby elect to proceed under and by virtue of the provisions of
Section 8300 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 3. That in accordance with Section 65402 of the Govern-
ment Code, this matter is hereby referred to the Planning Commission
for review with respect to conformance with the General Plan.
SECTION 4. That the hour of 7:30 p.m. on the 6th day of
December, 1978, is hereby fixed as the time, and the Council Chambers at
the City Halt located at 14403 East Pacific Avenue, City of Baldwin Park,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, is hereby fixed as the place
for hearing a11 persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation as above described.
SECTION 5. That the Street Superintendent shall cause notices to
be posted in the manner set forth in Section 8322 of the Streets and
Highway Code.
SECTION 6. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution and cause the same to be published or posted in the manner
prescribed by law. /^"7
