A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ORDERING
THE VACATION OF AN ALLEY BETWEEN
MERGED AND BRESEE SOUTH OF RAMONA) 78-V-3)
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the Street Vacation
Act of 1941", the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park, did on the 1st
day of November, 1978 adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 78-113, declaring
its intention to vacate a future street and alley in the City of Baldwin Park,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, as described herein; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention was duly published and notice
of street vacation duly posted, a11 in the form, place, time and manner required
by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, at the hearing designated by said
Resolution of Intention, on the 6th day of December, 1978, heard all of
the evidence offered in relation to the proposed vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park, does
FIND, DETERMINE, RESOLVE AND ORDER, as follows:
SECTION 1. That certain alley adjacent to lots 9, 10 and 11 within
Tract No. 11978 recorded in Book 219, pages 37 and 38 of Maps Recorder in the
Office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, State of California,
is hereby vacated.
SECTION 2. That the City hereby reserves a sewer easement over all
of the alley and reserves a utility easement to the General Telephone Company
and Southern California Edison Company over said alley.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to certify to the
passage.of this Resolution and shall cause a certified copy thereof, attested
by her under the seal of the City to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder, Los Angeles County, California.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th/d?y of December. 1978.
