A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK COMMENDING
PHILIP D. KILGOUR FOR HIS OUTSTANDING
SERVICE TO THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
WHEREAS, PHILIP D. KILGOUR has served the City of Baldwin Park
with dedication and professional integrity between 1975 and 1979 as Director
of City Planning; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Kilgour has rendered countless hours of service beyond
the expectations of his office; and
WHEREAS, he has provided significant contributions to the General
Plan program. Housing and Community Development process and the Redevelopment
program in the City; and
WHEREAS, he has provided professional guidance to his staff, the
Planning Commission and the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the people of the City of Baldwin Park desire recognition
of public servants who, through their efforts, have worked to make Baldwin
Park a better community in which to live.
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Baldwin Park does hereby recognize Mr. Kilgour for the outstanding service
he has performed as Director of City Planning, and on behalf of the comnunity,
expresses its appreciation and wishes him well in a11 future endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of February. 1979.
