RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING THE ISSUANCE BY iiiL BALDWIN
PARK REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF ITS
$2,800,000 SAN GABRIEL RIVER REDEVELOP-
MENT PROJECT, TAX ALLOCATION BONDS, ISSUE
OF 1979, FOR ITS CORPORATE PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the Baldwin Park Redevelopment Agency the Agency"),
is a redevelopment agency a public body, corporate and politic) duly
created, established and authorized to transact business and exercise
its powers, a11 under and pursuant to the Community Redevelopment Law
Part 1 of Division 24 commencing with Section 33000) of the Health
and Safety Code of the State of California] and the powers of the
Agency include the power to issue bonds for any of its corporate
purposes; and
WHEREAS, a Redevelopment Plan for a redevelopment project known
as the San Gabriel River Redevelopment Project" has been adopted and
approved by Ordinance No. 746 of the City of Baldwin Park, California
the City"), which became effective on December 2, 1976, and all
requirements of law for and precedent to the adoption and approval of
said Redevelopment Plan have been duly complied with; and
WHEREAS, under and pursuant to resolution, Eho Aqenry has
authorized the issuance and sale of $2,800,000 Baldwin Park Redevelop-
ment Agency, San Gabriel River Redevelopment Project, Tax Allocation
Bonds. Issue of 1979 the Bonds").
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Pdrk,
California, does hereby resolve, determine and order as follows:
SECTION 1. Approval of Issuance of Bonds. The issuance of
$2,800,000 principal amount of Baldwin Park Redevelopment Agency,
San Gabriel River Redevelopment Project, Tax Allocation Bonds,
Issue of 1979", for the corporate purposes of the Agency aiding in
the financing of the San Gabriel River Redevelopment Project, and
for other purposes related thereto, is hereby authorized and approved
