A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING
ITS INTENTION TO VACATE THAT CERTAIN
STREET EASEMENT AT RAMONA BOULEVARD
AND BOGART AVENUE 79-V-3)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does hereby declare its intention to consider the vacation of that cer-
tain street easement as shown in Exhibit A" and described as:
Commencing at North Easterly Corner of Lot 4 Tract 899
MB6-104 Los Angeles County recorder, thence North Easterly
along said Tract tine 140 feet. thence S 14 47 20 E 43.19
feet to the true point of beginning said point being on a
radial line which bears N. 75° 12' 40" E., thence North-
Easterly along a curve concave to the Southeast and having
a radius of 90 feet and a central angle of 14° 24' 34" a
distance of 22.63 feet thence N 00*22*46^ a distance of 46.46
feet to the beginning of a curve concave to the Southeast
with a radius of 25 and a central angle of 75° 35' 47". thence
along said curve a distance of 32.99 feet. thence N 89*14'
29"E a distance of 41.23 feet, thence N 75P 2' 40" E a
distance of 50 feet, thence N 61' 10' 51' E a distance of
41.23 feet. thence N 75*12'40"E to the Westerly line of the
Southern Pacific Railroad Right of Way, thence South Westerly
to the Prolongation of the Northerly line of Lot 3 Tract
899. thence S 75° 12' 40" W 135.28 feet to a curve concave to
the South East having a radius of 25 feet and a central
angle of 90°, thence along said curve a distance of 39.27
feet, thence N 14° 47" 20" E a distance of 6.81 feet to the
true point of beginning.
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does hereby elect to proceed under and by virtue of the provisions of
Section 8300 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 3. That in accordance with Section 65402 of the Government
Code. Planning Commission on September 12, 1979 found that said vacation would
be in conformance with the General Plan and its elements.
SECTION 4. That the hour of 7:30 p.m. on the 17in day of October
1979, Is hereby fixed as the time, and the Council Chambers at the City
Ha11» Located at 14403 East Pacific Avenue, City of Baldwin Park, County
of Los Angeles, State of California, is hereby fixed as the. place for
hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation as
above described.
SECTION 5. That the Street Superintendent shall cause notices to
be posted in the manner set forth in Section 8322 of the Streets and High-
ways Code.
SECTION 6. That the City Clerk shall Certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and cause the same to be published or posted in the manner
prescribed by law.
