A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ORDERING
THE VACATION OF THAT CERTAIN STREET
EASEMENT LOCATED AT RAMONA BOULEVARD
AND BOGART AVENUE, PLEASE REFER TO
EXHIBIT A" 79-V-3)
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provision of the Street
Vacation Act of 1941", the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park.
did on the 19th day of September, 1979 adopt its Resolution of In-
tention No. 79-93, declaring its intention to vacate a certain street
easement located at Ramona Boulevard and Bogart Avenue Please refer
to exhibit A" 79-V-3) in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los
Angeles, State of California as described herein; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention was duly published
and notice of street vacation duly posted, all in the form, place,
time and manner required by law and alt legal requirements have
been met; and
WHEREAS, this City Council, at the hearing designated
by said Resolution of Intention, on the 17th day of October 1979,
heard all of the evidence offered in relation to the proposed va-
cation.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does FIND. DETERMINE, RESOLVE and ORDER, as follows:
SECTION 1. Commencing at North Easterly Corner of Lot 4
Tract 899 MB6-104 Los Angeles County recorder, thence North Easterly
along said Tract line 140 feet, thence S M^ZO-E 43.19 feet to the
true point of beginning said point being on a radial line which bears
N 75®12'40"E., thence Northeasterly along a curve concave to the
Southeast and having a radius of 90 feet and a central angle of 14
24'34"a distance of 22.63 feet, thence N 00°22'46"W a distance of
46.46 feet to the beginning of a curve concave to the Southeast with
a radius of 25 and a central angle of 75^35*47^ thence along said
curve a distance of 32.99 feet, thence N 89°14' 29'E a distance of
41.23 feet, thence N 75<>12140"E a distance of 50 feet. thence N 61"
W5VE a distance of 41.23 feet, thence N 75^12'40''to the Westerly
line of the Southern Pacific Railroad Right of Way, thence South West-
erly to the Prolongation of the Northerly line of Lot 3 Tract 899,
thence S 75012140tW 135.28 feet to a curve concave to the South
East having a radius of 25 feet and a central angle of 90, thence
along said curve a distance of 39.27 feet, thence N l^M^W^.
a distance of 6.81 feet to the true point of beginning.
SECTION 2. That the City hereby reserves a sewer easement;
a utility easement to the General Telephone Company, Valley County
Water District; and maintenance easement for traffic signal conduits
over the entire said street easement.
SECTION 3. That said easement is not required for any
future or prospective street purposes.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to certify
to the passage of this Resolution and shall cause a certified copy
thereof, attested by her under the seal of the City to be recorded in
the Office of the County Recorder, Los Angeles County, California.
