A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ENDORSING PROPOSITION
A" FLOOD CONTROL BENEFIT ASSESSMENT"
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the City Council is in support of Proposition
A" in order that the Los Angeles County Flood Control District may
continue to meet its objective for flood protection.
SECTION 2. That the City Council finds that Proposition A"
appears to offer the citizens of the City of Baldwin Park adequate
protection and safeguards from major flooding problems.
Now, therefore, be it resolved that the City Council hereby
formally endorses Proposition A" Flood Control Benefit Assessment"
as it will appear on the ballot in the November, 1979, elections.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of October, 1979.
