A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION TO THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND BUSINESS
DEVELOPMENT FOR FUNDING ASSISTANCE UNDER
TITLE III, SECTION 304 OF THE PUBLIC WORKS
AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1965, AS
AMENDED
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park desires to apply for financial assistance pursuant to Title
III, Section 304 of the Public Works and Economic Development Act
of 1965, as amended.
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park believes that a need exists for such assistance.
SECTION 3. That the City Manager be authorized to
execute any and all necessary applications and documents on behalf
of the City of Baldwin Park for the purpose of obtaining financial
assistance pursuant to Title III, Section 304 of the Public Works
and Economic Development Act of 1965, including any extensions
and/or amendments thereof.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 21st da<^ of November, 1979.
