A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ESTABLISHING A CITY
COUNCIL ADVISORY COMMITTEE" FOR THE PARKING
AND BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT AREA NO. 1
THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin hereby
finds, determines and declares as follows:
a) That the City Council recently created a Parking
and Business Improvement Area No. I".
b) That the City Council is now establishing a City
Council Advisory Committee".
c) That the function of this committee will be to
basically review the annual budget of the
Improvement Area and to perform any other
advisory functions relative to the proper
functioning of the Improvement Area
d) That in addition, the City Council Advisory Committee
may perform such other powers and duties as the
City Council may determine.
e) That this City Council Advisory Committee shall
be comprised of five 5) persons as follows:
1. Mayor
2. City Council Member
3. City Manager or designee
4. Chamber Executive Director or designee
5. Chamber Retail Steering Committee member
SECTION 2. That a City Council Advisory Committee" be, and hereby
is, established.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of December, 1979.
