A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING
ITS INTENTION TO VACATE THAT CERTAIN
UTILITY EASEMENT AT RAMONA BOULEVARD
AND FUTURE STREET EASEMENT AT MERGED
AVENUE 80-V-1)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does hereby declare its intention to consider the vacation of that cer-
tain Utility Easement and Future Street Easement as shown in Exhibit A"
and described as:
UTILITY EASEMENT
Those portions of a 20 foot wide vacated alley as shown on
Tract 11978 in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles,
as filed in Book 219, page 37 of Maps in the office of the
Recorder of said County, said alley vacated by instrument No.
3357 recorded December 17, 1971, described as follows:
The northerly 9 feet and the southerly 3 feet of said vacated
alley bounded westerly by Merced Avenue and bounded easterly
by the southerly prolongation of the easterly tine of lot 5
of said tract and also:
The northerly 10 feet of said vacated alley bounded westerly
by the southerly prolongation of the easterly tine of Lot 5
of said tract and bounded easterly the southerly prolongation
of the easterly line of lot 8 of said tract.
FUTURE STREET EASEMENT
The east 30 feet of lots 23 and 24 of said Tract 11978.
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does hereby elect to proceed under and by virtue of the provisions of
Section 8300 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 3. That the hour of 7:30 p.m. on the 7th day of May,
1980, is hereby fixed as the time, and the Council Chambers at the City
Halt, located at 14403 E. Pacific Avenue, City of Baldwin Park, County
of Los Angeles, State of California, is hereby fixed as the place for
hearing alt persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation
as above described.
SECTION 4. That the Street Superintendent shall cause notices to
be posted in the manner set forth in Section 8322 of the Street and Highways
Code.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and cause the same to be published or posted in the manner
prescribed by law.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 2nd day of Apwil, 1980.
