A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK INITIATING PROCEEDINGS, APPOINTING
AN ENGINEER, DESCRIBING THE IMPROVEMENTS. DES-
CRIBING THE PROPOSED DISTRICT, AND ORDERING THE
ENGINEER TO PREPARE AND FILE A REPORT IN
ACCORDANCE WITH PART 2, DIVISION 15 OF THE
CALIFORNIA STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE
LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972) FOR THE
FORMATION OF THE WEST RAMONA LANDSCAPE AND
LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park, that the public interest, convenience and necessity require
the maintenance of landscaping facilities and related improvements within
the boundaries of Tracts 39090 and 39635; and
WHEREAS, the conditions of approval of tracts required landscaping
and lighting for the benefit of the future residents of the subdivision.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby find, determine and
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the public interest, convenience and necessity
require initiation of proceedings for the formation of an assessment district
and the Council proposes to form such a district for the purpose of maintaining
landscaping within the streets and easements designated for that purpose as
shown on the final maps of said tracts and within the streets adjacent to
said tracts. Maps of said tracts are on file in the Office of the City Engineer.
SECTION 2. That the area within the boundary of said tracts and
the streets adjacent to said tracts be defined as West Ramona Landscape and
Lighting Maintenance District.
SECTION 3. That the proceedings are to be conducted for said
maintenance district under and in accordance with provisions of Part 2 of
Division 15 of the Streets and Highways Code Landscaping and Lighting Act
of 1972) of the State of California.
SECTION 4. That Dwight F. French is hereby appointed the Engineer
for the purpose of these proceedings.
SECTION 5. That the Engineer is hereby ordered to prepare and
file a report in accordance with Article 4, Chapter 1, Part 2, Division 15
of the said Streets and Highways Code.
