HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980 049 CC RESO1980 049 CC RESO(ÌìîลกRESOLUTION NO. 80-49 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK COMMENDING RICHARD T. CUNNINGHAM FOR DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE WHEREAS, RICHARD T. CUNNINGHAM is retiring from his position as Director of Housing and Economic Development of the City of Baldwin Park, and WHEREAS, he has served not only in this capacity but also as Building Regulations Supervisor, Building Superintendent, and Director of Housing, and WHEREAS, he has applied his managerial expertise to successfully oversee the construction of the City's Civic Center and City Yard, and WHEREAS, Mr. Cunningham was instrumental in the creation of the Baldwin Park Business Development Corporation, the City's Overall Economic Develop- ment Program and the Baldwin Park Housing Authority, and WHEREAS, he has been involved with obtaining federal funds for the betterment of the City, and he has followed through on the execution of programs in a timely and efficient manner, and WHEREAS, Mr. Cunningham has faithfully served the City of Baldwin Park with skill, dedication and professional integrity of the highest order, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby recognize the dedicated public service RICHARD T. CUNNINGHAM has performed, and on behalf of the community expresses its appreciation and wishes him well in alt future endeavors.
